WIP Wednesday 07/09/2014

Well, I just realized I have not made a Work in Progress Wednesday post since the first week of June.  Between the family, chores, yard work (that still seriously needs my attention), and trying to make time to make jams, jellies, and fruit butters with local seasonal fruits, my stitching time has been seriously limited.  I actually found myself apologizing to my hubby when he found me stitching (for the fourth hour) yesterday morning.  Of course, he laughed at me for feeling the need to apologize.  (I suppose I did spend 22 hours in the kitchen during 2 days of our holiday weekend...)  Anyway, it is that time of year where I feel pulled in so many directions with so many things I would love to do.

So, I am sorry to say, I have made no progress on the Winter/Christmas Wall Quilt.  (Looking at the picture I posted of the layout makes me feel I need to get to it though!)

I did manage to finish about 300 stitches on the Heaven and Earth Designs cross-stitch project I have going.  My goal is a minimum of 100 stitches per week, so I am just a bit behind. (Pictured above.) And, I completed a few items on my list of goals.  So, there has been some progress!

To see what everyone else has been up to - and to see Sharon's gorgeous work on her project - check out this post (and the comments) at Pintangle.

Thanks for stopping by!

Renee
