We Support You Blog Hop Sneak Peek #8
This "E" was created using a split stitch and Anchor size 8 green perle cotton. Small lazy daisy (also called detached chain) stitches were added to create little leaves. Next, blue French knots created little flower buds, using DMC size 8 blue (#996) perle cotton.
Help me out a little and pretend the top of the E is straight... In the big scheme of things, I am hoping that will not stand out. If so, I guess it just shows the embroidery is all done by hand and not machine, right?! *wink*
This is the 8th sneak peek of my project for the We Support You Blog Hop which is only 17 days away! The hop is hosted by Madam Samm at Sew We Quilt. Our wonderful cheerleader is Pat from Life in the Scrapatch.
I am off to grab a cup off coffee and visit the 5 blogs presenting their purses on Day 2 of the Tammy 4 All Seasons Blog Hop at Sew We Quilt. Then, I will be making more progress on my project!
Thank you for stopping by!
Renee

Of course it's straight! There's just a teeny tiny little fold in the fabric beneath....right?
You are very patient with the Split stitches; I think they are difficult to make and try to avoid using them!
Beautiful embroidery! The top of the E looks straight to me! Looking forward to seeing more ... :) Pat
ohhhh how lovely...looking forward to seeing everything
I can't see past the sweetness of the letter and blooms. It's lovely Renee.
