Twilight Duel: SAL Update #24

Only 819 stitches were added to Twilight Duel over the past 3 weeks. However, that moved the stitch count over 90,000 and Page 10 is over 62% complete. AND if you look closely you can begin to see a bit of the black dragon's head emerging!

It is a bit easier to see the black dragon's head appearing in this close up of Page 10.

Twilight Duel: SAL Update #23

 

The advantage to waking up too early on weekend mornings has been finding quiet time to cross-stitch. 1,853 stitches were added to my Heaven and Earth Designs Twilight Duel cross-stitch project over the past 3 weeks, passing the 60% complete milestone.

Only 432 stitches were added to my Heaven and Earth Designs Twilight Duel cross-stitch project over the past 3 weeks.

It is not as much progress as I had hoped for, but that is okay. I am still on track to complete this row of pages by the end of the year.

Twilight Duel: SAL Update 21

I finally finished the third row of pages on Twilight Duel! Now I am filling in Page 10. The black dragon's face is on this page and continues into Page 11 above. I cannot wait for it to appear!

More than 87,000 of the 147,600 stitches are complete now. On my next update there will be less than 60,000 stitches to go. Each little milestone is a huge motivator to reach the finish line with this piece for my son.

Twilight Duel: SAL Update 20

 

Over the past 3 weeks, a fair amount of progress was made on my Heaven and Earth Designs Twilight Duel cross stitch project.  I almost finished the third row of pages.

Page 21 will be completed by our next update on May 2nd. Then I will move up to fill in Page 10. (This piece is charted sideways.)
