Only 819 stitches were added to Twilight Duel over the past 3 weeks. However, that moved the stitch count over 90,000 and Page 10 is over 62% complete. AND if you look closely you can begin to see a bit of the black dragon's head emerging!
The photo above shows how it looked in my last update.
It is a bit easier to see the black dragon's head appearing in this close up of Page 10.
I do hope you will stop by to see what the other talented bloggers participating in this 3 week Stitch Along have been working on. Our next update will be on July 25th.
Thanks for stopping by. And I hope those of you in the U.S.A have a great 4th of July!

this is such a mammouth, intricate piece - I applaud you for having completed as much as you did this time!
You say 'only' but that's still an awful lot of stitching :)
I can see it :-) 819 stitches is more than plenty. Well done!
Yes I can see the black dragon's "mane" starting. Great progress.
Sure enough, I can see the dragons head starting to take shape! Such an intricate piece, and so big. You are doing splendidly Renee!
Yes, the feathers on the top of his head are appearing.
Good progress.
Only 819 stitches! I´d say, that´s a lot of stitches :)
Nice progress!
I am going to say it...thats a hell of a lot of stitches!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I see the head of the black dragon! Well done, lots of great progress :)
Seeing the head emerge has to be an exciting moment!
Oh how I wish I could do this type of stitching....
I love the combinations of the 2 dragons in this piece and the movement of the dragons. I have collected dragons for over 40 years and this is lovely in its movement and contrast.
Claire, it is huge. Thank you so much!
Carole, thank you! Yes, it is a lot. :)
Avis, thank you! It is exciting to begin seeing the head.
Dear Unknown commenter, thank you for the encouragement! Yes, 819 is a lot. :)
Christina, thank you!
Rebecca, thank you so much! I imagine you have an AMAZING collection of dragons. My son and I do love Ruth Thompson's dragons. :)
It's amazing how far this has come. It's going to be so beautiful! It already is.
