Christmas Project: SAL Update 5 & Twilight Duel: SAL Update 29

 

I am happy to announce I have a finish to share for our first Stitch-Along (SAL) update of 2022!

The photo above shows how Santa looked on December 19th. Thanks to some quality stitching time on December 26th, I made some great progress. The last few stitches were added in January.

My husband brought Buddy, our bearded dragon, in to see me just as I finished the last stitch. 

Yesterday, I spent a couple of hours working on Twilight Duel. The photo above shows how it looked at the end of 2021. (No progress was made between July 18th and December 31st.)

And this is how it looks now.

Twilight Duel: SAL Update #25

 

Just over 800 stitches were added to Twilight Duel since our last update, allowing a bit more of the black dragon's head to appear. If you look closely, you may see that his second talon is also making an appearance.

The photo above shows how it looked in my last update.

Page 10 is over 71% complete and the project is 61.88% finished.

Twilight Duel: SAL Update #24

Only 819 stitches were added to Twilight Duel over the past 3 weeks. However, that moved the stitch count over 90,000 and Page 10 is over 62% complete. AND if you look closely you can begin to see a bit of the black dragon's head emerging!

Twilight Duel: SAL Update #23

 

The advantage to waking up too early on weekend mornings has been finding quiet time to cross-stitch. 1,853 stitches were added to my Heaven and Earth Designs Twilight Duel cross-stitch project over the past 3 weeks, passing the 60% complete milestone.

For this Stitch Along (SAL) we each select our own project to work on and we share updates every 3rd Sunday. Our next update will be on July 4th.
