SK Effects of Caffeine - SAL Update 15

Wow! This is my 15th update with the Stitch Along (SAL) hosted by Avis at Sewing Beside the Sea. For this SAL, each participant picks a project to work on and we share our progress every 3 weeks. That means I have been a part of this SAL for 45 weeks already!

Only 90 stitches were added since my last update. (My stitching time has been very limited and I spent most of that time on a crazy quilting project.)

This is how it looked on October 13th. Our next update will be on November 24th.

I began this Heaven and Earth Designs Storykeep Effects of Caffeine cross-stitch as a travel project on October 5, 2015. It received attention when I took relatives to appointments or on a rare trip out of town, so I shared daily updates. When I started working, it became my lunchtime project. Daily updates were not working out. Sharing my progress every 3 weeks was the perfect solution.

This is how it looked when I decided to join the SAL. 4,390 stitches were complete at that time.

Thanks to this group of crafty bloggers, 10,787 stitches have been added this year.

I hope you will visit everyone to see what they have been working on! We want to welcome Connie to our stitch along. Helen is taking a break at the moment. We will also miss Clare, as she has stepped out of the SAL.

Thank you for visiting!
Renee

It's coming along very nicely. I love the rich colour scheme on this design.

I enjoy seeing your progress. My long term cross stitch project is a flag by Bygone Stitches. You make me want to pull it out and put in another few stitches.

Renee, 90 stitches in is still 90 stitches less! We all have those times when life gets in the way!

I've been enjoying working on different projects for a little while -- I"m probably procrastinating before starting my next big needlepoint project! You'll come back to Mr. Dragon (or, um, Draggin') soon enough!

90 is better than zero! I'm happy you were working on CQ, because that means there'll be a CQ post coming up some time. =)

Such an amazing project and I can't get over the amount of stitching you have actually done - 90 isn't to shabby either :) Sharon

Hi Renee, I too have been squeezed for time these last two updates. Finally managed to devote a couple of tv nights to stitching and made a bit of progress. So many things to do! And I will look forward to seeing your crazy quilting too, stitching I love.

It is coming along nicely. That is how it goes, sometimes a lot and most of the time just a little here and there.

I appreciate the back story on this piece we've been watching grow. I'm not on instagram but I'd love to see your crazy quilt work as well. :-)
