I would love to say I made all of my progress during that appointment, but I barely started working on it when a young lady politely interrupted to see what I was working on. She cross-stitches, but had not seen charts by Heaven and Earth Designs. When she saw the cover of the chart for this Storykeep Effects of Caffeine by Randal Spangler, she rushed it over to show to the young man she was with. I spent the rest of the time visiting... :)
When I got home, I decided to work on it a little while longer and managed to add 372 stitches. The photo above shows 19 days worth of stitching progress. The piece is just over 10% complete and the jewel section at the top of the book is done.
Page 1 is now 39.43% complete.
This photo shows how it looked in my last update.
I do not have a photo of the completed piece to share, but you may view it on the Heaven and Earth Designs website, here.
Thank you for stopping by!
Renee

The nice thing with stitching is public is that so many people come up and want to look, and hopefully be inspired to try embroidery themselves.
Great work! And always good to introduce people to HAED.
I love how your jewel is so vibrant. I visited the finished project. What a fabulous design to be working on.
Well worth the interruption to give pleasure to others and maybe entice them to stitch one also.
Stitching in public is a wonderful thing, especially when you find a kindred soul. I often think that, even it doesn't result in a conversation with someone, perhaps it plants a seed of interest in their minds and who knows where it might lead.
Beautiful, Renee! I'm not a caffeine person, but I like the rich colors of this piece, and the finished picture shows a bit of whimsy and laugh-at-self, that we all need. =)
Beautiful progress. It's always fun to talk stitching with someone.
You may have converted someone there! Any progress is still progress Renee, your jewel is very effective.
Nice progress on this project as well.
