Crazy Quilting International Snowball Swap - made by Nicki Lee for Renee |
Don't you just love the use of lace and beads to create a snowy landscape?! (Nicki Lee hand dyes beautiful lace. If you have not checked out her Etsy shop, I encourage you to do so! I am not affiliated with her shop, but I do have a wish list started...)
The details are all so lovely! The tree and the deer were both from sets of earrings. (I started looking at seasonal earrings thinking of crazy quilting charms after receiving my first snowball from Nicki Lee. Such a clever idea!)
Thank you SO much, Nicki Lee! I absolutely love my snowball!

Nice sparkly composition!
Nicky has indeed created a fantastic landscape with her lace. You are lucky to have such beautiful snowballs in your collection.
Thank you, Kim! I am quite lucky. :)
Thank you, Janie! It sparkles beautifully!
Thank you, Queenie! It is such a lovely variety of snowballs. Each one is so unique. I plan to take a picture of all ten today to share here soon. :)
Renne, I am so happy you like the snowballs I have made for you. I absoluteley love the 2 you made me and am in love with my mermaid! I hope to be blogging about my snowballs soon. If you plan on continuing next year, I'd love to swap with you again.
How pretty! I especially love the wee reindeer. It's amazing what treasures you can find if you check out the costume jewelry section at the thrift store!
Nicki Lee, I absolutely love them both! Thank you so much. I am so glad you like the mermaid. I have been trying to get the nerve up to make one since I made that first snowball for you in 2013. I'm thrilled you like her! Next year, I hope to begin a collection of 4"-square autumn/Halloween snowballs. I would be happy to swap with you anytime! :)
Thank you, MA! I love the reindeer, too. Ooh... I had not thought of the costume jewelry section at the thrift store. I will have to check that out next time!
