WIP Wednesday 08/20/2014

Wow! It has been a very busy week.  I have spent SO much time stitching, yet feel like I still have very little to show for it.  I suppose that is a consequence of having too many projects going at once.  Particularly when they are not quick projects.

You can see the progress I have made on my Winter/Christmas Wall Quilt. (You can click on any photo for a larger image.) I added the second name and began on the third. For next week's photo, I will remove this waste canvas so you can see it a bit better.

Now, to see the progress I have made on my (way too long) lists:

  3. Complete back for May CQJP 2014 block.
  4. Freebie Santa and the Mouse Ornament -  Heaven and Earth Designs chart by Michele Sayetta and artwork by Scott Gustafson. (I believe the ornament is a portion of the chart "Santa and the Mouse.") Complete 100 x-stitches by next week. Done - Completed over 500 x-stitches.

Your lists are so LONG. How can you keep track of all the work, planned and completed?
The Christmas quilt will be ready for Christmas, though, and maybe the Santa and Mouse x-stitch, too.
Good luck!

They are too long - lol! I started a page with this year's finishes to track completed projects (there should be a tab at the top of the blog.) As for the planned projects... I have several gifts I hope to make before the end of the year. I am trying to combine a few of those with my CQJP 2014 projects. The others are still on my mental list, I only add them to the lists above after completing another project. The only problem with that is that the lists never shrink. However, I hope to eliminate 3 - if not 4 - items from the long-term list by next WIP Wednesday. Thanks for the good luck wishes - I may need it!
