Twilight Duel: SAL Update 18

440 stitches have been added to Twilight Duel over the past 3 weeks. I hoped to stitch more; but considering we spent 6 days without power from freezing rain, I am happy with the progress I managed.

I do hope you will stop by to see what everyone else in this stitch-a-long (SAL) has been working on. We are in different time zones, so if a post is not up, please check back later. Our next update will be on March 21st.

Thanks for stopping by!
Renee

Oh, the 'ice age' must have been frightening. Is the frost risk over now or will you have to braze for another one?

A "shivering" photo, that frozen nature .. I read about the frost storm and I hope the situation has improved now ... Good progress!

That is a long time without power in cold weather. Reminds me of when we experienced Superstorm Sandy. I hope everything is back to normal now. Your stitching is looking great.

That ice storm was so terrible (daughter and grands without power too for that amount of time (Oregon City area) You might be in the same area? So happy life is back to order again for you. You got a lot done despite the awful situation. See you next time :)

too true you can't stitch on something so intricate by candle light!

The storm last week was indeed a whopper, glad you got through it! Something to tell your grand children! I’m amazed you got any stitching done with that going on!

Goodness, that is a long time to go without power. I moan if we are cut off for a few hours!

Wow -- six days without power must have been scary and difficult -- glad to hear you made it through. As always, your stitching is beautiful!

Six days with no power is unthinkable, have you considered getting a generator for next Winter? We borrowed one last time we had a power out but that was only one day.
Or maybe just your own personal dragon to melt the ice!
