In 2014, I opened an Etsy shop at the encouragement of friends and family members. However, I was still uncomfortable with the idea of selling my handmade items. So, aside from one item I listed that expired and was then dontated to a blogging friend to auction off at a fundraiser, the shop has sat empty.
This year, I am ready to give my Etsy shop - Hand Stitched Treasure - a good go. At this time, the shop only ships within the United States.
This small coin purse was created with one of the mailboxes I colored and hand embroidered in February, while participating in InCoWriMo (International Correspondence Writing Month.) The butterfly made it a bit too thick for a fabric postcard, as they may only be up to 1/4-inch thick, so a coin purse seemed like a perfect alternative.
It measures roughly 5.5-inches long and 3.75-inches tall, perfect for pocket change.
