Twilight Duel: SAL Update 11

I am thrilled to say I finally finished page 9 on my Heaven and Earth Designs Twilight Duel cross-stitch project!

And I really want to thank everyone for their positive thoughts and wishes in my last update. I am so happy to say that the rains arrived, helping clear the fires from this area and clearing the air quality. I doubt I have ever been so happy to see blue in the sky! My thoughts are still with those affected by fires in the northwest.

Almost 600 stitches were added over the past 3 weeks, completing page 9. Now I am on to page 15, which will finish most of the white dragon and include part of the black dragon's wing.

I do hope you will hop over to see what the other crafty bloggers have been up to. Our next update will be on October 25th.

Thank you for visiting!
Renee

  2. I'm happy to hear the rains arrived and cleared the smoke somewhat. Blue skies are definitely not given enough credit and mostly go unappreciated. And yay for finishing page 9!

  8. Congrats on the completion of page 9! But, having jumped to page 15 I'm wondering how many pages there are in total? I'm sure I would lose my place in such a massive design and screw it up right from the start. And now you'll be stitching white on white? Yikes! We are also very relieved to have had some rain to cleanse our air. Still concerned for those living in dangerous areas though, as well as those doing battle with the blazes.

  12. The horrible wildfires have sent shockwaves around the Globe. Good to hear you got help from the heavens. You have a beautiful blue sky behind your dragon, too.
    Keep up the good work.
