Last weekend was International Hermit & Stitch Weekend (IHSW). It is held the 3rd full weekend of each month and I try to work on Fractal White Tiger by Charting Creations for IHSW.
I added 639 stitches during IHSW and another 800 stitches this weekend. 41,662 of 174,300 stitches are now complete.
As pages 16 & 17 fill in, more of the tiger's whiskers and nose will be revealed.
The photo below shows how it looked at the end of May.
Pattern Keeper has made stitching this piece so much easier. It is currently 23.9% complete. The photo below shows about how much progress has been made and how far I have to go.
I hope you have been able to spend some time doing something relaxing this weekend, too!
Thank you for visiting.
Renee
I think this is my favourite of the projects you are stitching Renee and I love seeing the tiger's face slowly coming to life! Glad you have had a relaxing weekend! Christine xx
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of International Hermit & Stitch Weekend. I have a Hermit & Stitch Day every day!
ReplyDeleteYour tiger is looking grander for each blogpost.
I don't know which I like better - the tiger or the dragons. Each time you post an update I can really see how they're growing.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be rewarding to see it slowly filling in and becoming complete. The numbers changing helps, too. This looks great!
