When I microwave, I either wrap in plastic wrap or put the dish cover over them, and the steam helps keep them nicely moist as they bake. But I still never had one pop open. The others didn't burst. Obviously, that was a faulty potato! =)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2967244821561873554.post-90590225057576871162016-03-03T22:11:00.633-08:002016-03-03T22:11:00.633-08:00Imagine if they'd all exploded! I usually use a bake sheet, lay a piece of foil down, wet the potatoes and season the skins with spray Parkay and spices, roll them all up together in the foil and bake and NEVER time...it just works and Terry who loves the skins that I hate is happy. I never knew potatoes would explode in the OVEN!!

Have a great weekend
xx, CarolCarol- Beads and Birdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11062821517519300477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2967244821561873554.post-21290495677854768722016-03-03T05:16:25.374-08:002016-03-03T05:16:25.374-08:00How funny! She'd never had a microwave before and fixed baked potatoes for dinner...just like in the oven....on high power for 45-60 minutes. They came out like bricks. She called me in a panic....she knew I loved using my microwave to make them....we both had a good laugh. She and Dad went out for dinner that night 😀
xxxKimMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01591575014835003465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2967244821561873554.post-32767871381581820112016-03-03T03:36:02.309-08:002016-03-03T03:36:02.309-08:00That is too funny Renee! It took 2-3 minutes to figure out that the cellophane seal was still on the jar lid. I felt so silly.
