HAED QS Red Hearts Progress - March 2016

This was my progress update in February on the Heaven and Earth Designs QS Red Hearts chart based on artwork by Ching-Chou Kuik.

I have discovered having 3 large cross-stitch projects in rotation to be a little bit stressful. This is the smallest of the three, so I worked on it just about every time I had a chance this past week.

2,346 stitches were added this month (all within the past week.)

The full project is now 27.79% complete. (I did a mental happy dance when I surpassed 25%!)

Page 1 - 100% complete.
Page 2 - 50.42% complete.
Page 3 - 13.7 % complete.
Page 4 - 13.5% complete.

I am linking up with Monday Stitchery Link Party #48 at Super Mom - No Cape! this week. It is a great place to visit for a free embroidery pattern (there are several this week and they are really cute) and to find links to more eye candy. If you do any hand stitching and have a blog, I encourage you to join the fun!

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. She's looking lovely! You've reached a real milestone too, a quarter finished. Great work!

  2. Well done Renee! This is looking beautiful. It must be hard to have all three projects to work on at the same time! I know I would get muddled up!! Christine x

  3. Well done Renee! She is looking very pretty. I don't think I could do this - I'm afraid my cross-stitch has had to hibernate in the "Dreaded Cupboard" again! Such tiny stitches too, one stitch over 28 count, wow!

  7. It's easy to see the progress. I wondered if having three going on at once was stressful. You are making progress on all of them, and even one is not a quick project, not the ones you choose! Each one will be finished when it's finished and not a stitch sooner, so just keep stitching! =) Concentrating on one for a week provided a lot of progress. Maybe that's how you can rotate them and have less stress? You don't have any deadline, either, except self-imposed ones!

  8. A quarter of this lovely design finished, wow, that is really something. But one needs a lot of patience when stitching a HAED piece.
