Twilight Duel Update #25

This month, I only added 348 stitches to my Heaven and Earth Designs (HAED) Twilight Duel cross-stitch. Most of that was filling in the white dragon on page 14, which makes the progress very difficult to see. I really do love this piece, based on the amazing artwork of Ruth Thompson.

This photo shows a close up view of page 14, the next section I plan to complete.

I hope to have more progress to show in March.

This is an amazing piece. I don't think my eyes would allow this tiny stitching. I don't cross stitch, though I used to stitch on waste canvas 40 years ago. Could you show the back of your piece? I'd have to go to Utube to find out how to carry colors over when the color changes for just a few stitches if I were to take up this kind of stitching. Your skill is ... I hate to say amazing again, but it is.

This is such a beautiful piece. And all the white stitching may be difficult but it is worth it and makes the definition to the design.

I could see the difference in the two. We know what you were doing instead, don't we? =) Someone sent me a gorgeous postcard that arrived today! I love that it has your work on the front of it. =)

Your progress is easily visible. Such a wonderful design, Renee.

Progress is progress. Sometimes with these pieces they just seem to crawl. I just love this one though.

I know it's difficult to see white on white stitches but you're doing great! I'm sure your son is watching the progress with great interest.
