InCoWriMo 2018 Days 1-6

InCoWriMo 2018 has been fun so far!

For Day 1 I wrote a note to a dear family friend on the
postcard in the photo above.
(You may recognize it as one I began last
February - here, and finished in October - here.)

For Days 2-6 I am sending Valentine cards out that I printed using the digital stamp "You Have Mail" from The Paper Shelter.

I love that these digital stamps come with an outline you may color and with a colored image that you may just print.

In Picasa (free photo software), I added text to personalize each image. The images were then inserted into a Microsoft Word document and printed onto blank white cards.

Have you written any "snail mail" letters or cards recently? It is kind of fun knowing the recipients are not expecting them!

Thank you for stopping by!
Renee

Too cute. No I haven't hand written anything in forever.

That's terrific! I have seven to do this week! I got some cards free in Tucson because of something else I bought, and I think they are perfect, with plants on the front of them.

They’re adorable Renee. And yes I’ve written three in the last week actually. Thank you are a must and my husbands cousin passed after fighting for a few years so a more personal note to his widow was called for.
Snail mail adds a human connection that’s appreciated. It’s good of you to reach out as you are.

I don't send as much snail mail as I used to - now that the postage costs are so high it sort of makes you think twice about sending too much. I do like the idea of InCoWriMo tho'!

I used to have lots of penpals when I was younger and when there was no email. Nowadays I rarely ever send something by snail mail. That's a pity because i still have a whole box full of cards and stationery. Maybe I should create such a month for me as well.
