TAST 2016 Stitch 42

TAST Stitch 42: Fern Stitch

I had fun with the fern stitch this week! In the past, I have made similar plants on under-the-sea blocks using the fly stitch. Both methods are enjoyable.

TAST stands for Take a Stitch Tuesday. It is a personal stitching challenge offered by Sharon B. on Facebook and on her blog, pintangle.com. You may read more about it hereIf you follow the TAST Facebook group, you know some incredibly inspiring examples of these stitches are being shared. Anyone may join at any time during the challenge.

In my last post, I asked if anyone kept a bullet journal. I should have shared a link. Sorry about that! This journal system is described at bulletjournal.com.

Speaking of journals, Sharon Boggon will be focusing on journaling at her blog, In a Minute Ago

Thank you so much for stopping by!

So funny that you just started a Bullet Journal too. I am using a journal I picked up on sale for my kids. They wanted the graph squares. Then I lost it and had to find a different one for that child. Anyway, it is the perfect size for me and I already had it. Doesn't hold up to paint very well so if I continue to do this, I need to use something with heaver paper. I do journal in a composition book. Have used stitched pieces to cover it so at least I have something pretty.

Very graceful fern! I saw a calendar/journal I liked tonight - one of my friends uses it, and I think some of the pages could work very well for a bullet journal. It's from Target, so I'll have to see if I can find one.
