Ever want to dye your own fabric or lace?

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/7758055/?claim=avsy5g5w4s3">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>

Sorry for the late notice! Last night, I saw that Kathy Shaw has opened registration for her Intermediate Crazy Quilt Course #102 (ICQC-#102). There are NO prerequisites for this FREE class as it teaches different techniques to paint or dye fabrics, laces and silk ribbon.

I would love to know how to dye my own CQ backgrounds and how to dye my own silk ribbon (I'm thinking variegated ribbon at the cost of solid here...)

If you want to join me in this class, please hurry. Registration ends today. If you want to sign up, details are here. There is no charge for the class, but you do need to purchase your own supplies and the supply list may be found through a link at the bottom of this page.

Have a wonderful day!
Renee

P.S. I am finally trying to figure out how to "claim my blog" on Bloglovin' - thus the link at the top of this post... Technically challenged? Who? Me?! :)

Hello Renee! Thank you for sharing the link. Are you signing up for the class? I wasn't sure whether to or not as I know I am going to have trouble getting hold of some of the supplies. :) x

Hi, Christine! I did sign up! If accessing some of the supplies may be an issue, I would suggest contacting Kathy to see what she says. :)

I'm glad you are going to do it. I'll watch your progress on your posts. =) I use a completely different system, so I didn't sign up, but I know you will learn SO much! And it's fun to paint the laces, and then to use them in the CQ. You can even dye to match!

I haven't completed the first class in the series as yet so I haven't signed up for this one (and also managed to miss the sign up window so I could announce it on my blog). Before I sign up for this particular unit I need to see if the supplies are available here.
